# BF4PS Migration Validation

This document records validation performed against the BF4 Player Stats database migrations. It intentionally records software/database behavior only; deployment-specific infrastructure, hostnames, addresses, credentials, and access-control configuration do not belong here.

## `0001_initial_schema`

Migration `0001_initial_schema` was validated against PostgreSQL 16.15 on 2026-10-02.

Validation included:

- migration from an empty database to `0001_initial_schema`;
- successful creation of all 16 BF4PS application tables;
- inspection of table columns;
- inspection of primary-key, foreign-key, and unique constraints;
- inspection of application indexes;
- verification of all 33 CHECK constraints;
- confirmation that Alembic reported `0001_initial_schema (head)` after upgrade;
- downgrade from `0001_initial_schema` to Alembic base;
- confirmation that all 16 BF4PS application tables were removed by the downgrade;
- confirmation that the Alembic version table remained with no current revision at base, as expected;
- re-upgrade from base to `0001_initial_schema`;
- confirmation that all 16 BF4PS application tables were recreated successfully; and
- confirmation that Alembic again reported `0001_initial_schema (head)` after the round trip.

PostgreSQL transactional DDL was used throughout the migration tests.

This validation establishes that migration `0001_initial_schema` can be applied to a clean PostgreSQL 16 database, cleanly downgraded to base, and applied again. It does not replace future integration, collector, concurrency, performance, or production-upgrade testing.
